Job Summary
As a Collection Analyst – Campaign Management & MIS at Branch International, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of collections campaigns and performance reporting. The role will involve setting up and maintaining campaigns across collection channels, implementing campaign changes based on business and management decisions, monitoring campaign performance, and ensuring accurate and timely collections MIS.
You will work closely with the Collections team and cross-functional stakeholders to translate collection strategies into campaign configurations and provide actionable performance insights through regular reporting and analysis.
You will report to the Head of Collections, India.
Key Responsibilities
Collections Campaign Management
- Set up and manage collections campaigns across different delinquency buckets, customer segments, and communication channels.
- Implement campaign changes in line with collection strategies and management decisions.
- Regularly update campaign configurations, customer segments, communication journeys, schedules, and related parameters.
- Ensure campaigns are launched accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Perform appropriate checks and validations before and after campaign changes to minimize configuration or execution errors.
- Maintain a structured tracker of campaigns, configurations, changes, and implementation dates.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for campaign-related requirements and issue resolution.
- Support implementation of new collection strategies, experiments, pilots, and process changes through appropriate campaign setups.
- Monitor campaign execution and proactively identify and resolve operational issues.
Campaign Performance & Analysis
- Track and report the performance of collections campaigns on a regular basis.
- Analyze campaign performance across delinquency buckets, customer segments, communication channels, and strategies.
- Compare campaign performance against historical trends, benchmarks, and defined targets.
- Identify underperforming campaigns or segments and highlight areas requiring intervention.
- Support the Collections team with data and analysis required for campaign optimization.
- Measure the impact of campaign changes and new collection initiatives.
Collections MIS & Performance Reporting
- Own and maintain regular Collections MIS and performance reporting.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering overall collections performance.
- Track collection performance across delinquency buckets, portfolios, channels, and other relevant segments.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards that provide clear visibility into collections performance.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely availability of collections data and reports.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and performance gaps and highlight them to the Collections leadership team.
- Support management reviews with relevant data, analysis, and presentations.
- Work towards automating recurring MIS and reducing manual reporting wherever possible.
Stakeholder Management & Process Improvement
- Work closely with Collections leadership to translate business decisions into campaign and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with Product, Tech, Data, Compliance, and other relevant teams for campaign implementation, data requirements, and issue resolution.
- Maintain documentation and SOPs for campaign setup, campaign changes, validations, and reporting processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve or automate campaign management and reporting processes.
- Ensure campaign configurations and communications adhere to internal policies and applicable compliance requirements.
Requirements
Must Have
- 1+ years of experience in collections, campaign management, MIS, operations, analytics, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and working with large datasets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends and performance gaps.
- High attention to detail, particularly while configuring campaigns and preparing performance reports.
- Ability to manage multiple campaign changes and reporting requirements simultaneously.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong ownership and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in improving processes and automating repetitive activities.
Good to Have
- Prior experience in Fintech, NBFC, lending, or digital collections.
- Experience managing customer communication or collections campaigns.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with campaign management/customer engagement platforms.
- Experience building automated MIS, dashboards, or performance trackers.
