Job Overview
Branch is seeking a talented Individual on the post of Senior Accountant in the Finance department for taking care of Corporate accounts and tax compliances. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day accounting activities. The focus will include compliance with IndAs accounting standards, handling junior accountants, support in monthly book closure. You will collaborate with our Ops, Credit, Finance, engineering teams to drive legal operations and compliance culture. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your accounting skills in a dynamic and diverse environment.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated Experience in handling & assisting in corporate accounts, Direct and Indirect tax compliances and monthly book closures;
  • Strong Familiarity with Indian Accounting standards (IndAs) & Accounting standards (IGAAP). 
  • Disciplined & professional approach towards handling various support activities like finance reconciliations, inter departmental communication & work documentation.  
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft office applications.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring the team of junior accountants on daily tasks & their performance.
  • Experience working in a startup environment is an added advantage. 
  • Possess Strong review skills, technical skills, communication skills, Interpersonal skills and analytical skills.
Qualifications
  • Qualified or Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant
  • 3-4 years of experience in handling corporate accounts and tax compliances. Prior experience in NBFC sector would be an added advantage
