Job Description
The Staff Accountant will report to the Senior Accountant in India. This will be a permanent role that will involve a variety of accounting functions, including accounts payable, daily reconciliation of wallets, review of employee expense, general ledger reconciliations for various balance sheet and profit & loss accounts.

Job Description
The Staff Accountant will report to the Senior Accountant in India. This will be a permanent role that will involve a variety of accounting functions, including accounts payable, daily reconciliation of wallets, review of employee expense, general ledger reconciliations for various balance sheet and profit & loss accounts.
Responsibilities
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for India covering disbursements, repayments, net cash, and third-party contracts.
- Prepare and record journal entries to support a timely month-end close using NetSuite.
- Analyse and complete assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Record cash and expense transactions, ensuring accurate categorization.
- Ensure consistent expense categorization for vendors.
- Assist in ensuring that all statutory dues are paid on time.
- Partner with various departments on accruals, vendor management and contracts management.
- Assist the team to ensure the preparation and communication of timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports.
- Assist with preparation of monthly cash projections.
- Assist with annual external audit, completing requested materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Masters in finance or related areas
- 1-2 years accounting experience in similar position
- Hands on Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, creative
- Super organized and results focused
- Flexibility to work with team members in different time zones daily is essential
