Job Overview
Branch launched in Nigeria in early 2017 and has seen rapid adoption and growth. As a company, we are passionate about our customers, fearless in the face of barriers, and driven by data. We’re looking for a Senior Analyst who can turn data into actionable insights that drive user growth, engagement, and profitability. You’ll work cross-functionally with the Marketing, Finance, Product, & Business teams to identify opportunities, design experiments, and influence key business decisions.
Responsibilities:
Data-driven Decisioning
- Champion a data-first culture by enabling business teams to make informed, evidence-based decisions across Product, Finance, Growth, Collections, People Operations and Customer Experience.
- Translate business questions into structured analyses, ensuring that every strategic or operational choice is backed by quantitative insights.
- Partner with leadership to design metrics and success criteria for key initiatives, ensuring clear alignment between business goals and measurable outcomes.
- Evaluate and communicate the impact of data-led interventions, using storytelling and visualization to drive executive alignment and action.
Product Analytics
- Work with Product Managers and Engineers to design and analyze A/B tests that improve user experience and business outcomes.
- Develop dashboards and reporting to track feature adoption, conversion rates, and user behavior.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to shape product roadmaps and customer journey design.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Customer service, Collections, Marketing and Business teams to test hypotheses, measure performance, and design scalable insights pipelines.
- Support multiple functions with ad-hoc analyses that clarify business trends, transforming fragmented data into actionable strategic roadmaps.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in Analytics, ideally within Fintech, Consumer Tech, or Growth-stage startups.
- Fluency in SQL, Excel and Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with a bias toward action and business impact.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Metabase, and ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong storytelling skills — you can translate complex data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, cross-cultural teams across multiple time zones.
