Job Overview

The Retention Marketing Associate will play a key role in driving customer engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value. This role focuses on executing retention strategies and lifecycle marketing initiatives that keep customers active, satisfied, and connected to our brand. The ideal candidate is data-driven, creative, and passionate about delivering personalized customer experiences across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy Customer Engagement Platforms campaigns and automated flows across email, push, SMS, and in-app
  • Support the execution and optimization of customer lifecycle programs across our digital banking products, including loans, wallets, savings, payments, and salary accounts.
  • Monitor customer behavior, segment users, and personalize communications to increase engagement and reduce churn.
  • Assist in the planning and optimization of lifecycle marketing campaigns, including onboarding, activation, engagement, and win-back journeys.
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks across customer cohorts.
  • Monitor daily campaign performance and flag issues or opportunities
  • Assist with A/B testing, performance tracking, and basic data analysis 
  • Prepare weekly reports on retention KPIs and funnel performance 
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Growth, Product, CS) to address engagement drop-offs
  • Draft and edit lifecycle communication copy based on guidelines
  • Maintain accurate documentation of flows, segments, and campaign changes
  • Ensure brand tone, clarity, and quality in all retention-related messaging.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Communications, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in CRM, retention marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM or marketing automation tools (e.g., Braze, HubSpot, MoEngage, Mailchimp).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in a tech, fintech, e-commerce, or digital-first environment is an added advantage
