Job Overview;
The Direct Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales by actively engaging customers, promoting company products or services, and closing sales through direct interaction. The role focuses on meeting sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and representing the brand professionally in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively sell products/services through direct engagement with customers (field, retail, or assigned locations).
- Identify and approach potential customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Clearly explain product features, benefits, and pricing to customers.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Accurately capture customer information and complete sales documentation.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and objections professionally.
- Provide market feedback, including customer needs and competitor activity.
- Adhere to company policies, sales processes, and ethical standards.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in direct sales, field sales, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with sales tools are added advantages.
