Job Overview
Branch is seeking a talented Individual on the post of Senior Associate in the Finance department for taking care of Corporate accounts and tax compliances. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day accounting activities. The focus will include compliance with IndAs accounting standards, support in monthly book closure and audits, and other projects. You will collaborate with our Ops, Credit, Finance, engineering teams to drive legal operations and compliance culture. Job Overview
Branch is seeking a talented Individual on the post of Senior Associate in the Finance department for taking care of Corporate accounts and tax compliances. Requirements
- Assist in and independently handle corporate accounting activities, including monthly and period-end book closures
- Exposure to accounting for debt, borrowings, and treasury-related transactions is preferred.
- Ensure accounting and reporting are in line with applicable accounting standards (Ind-AS / IGAAP), as applicable
- Prepare and maintain working papers, schedules, and reconciliations to support financial reporting and audits
- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits, including responding to auditor queries and providing relevant data
- Work on process improvements, documentation, and standardisation of accounting workflows
- Ensure appropriate controls and checks at the transaction and process level to maintain data accuracy and integrity
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned areas, and close issues in a timely manner
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders and auditors
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP is an added advantage
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- High attention to detail with a strong control and risk awareness mindset
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (2–4 years of experience) or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (4–6 years of experience)
- Experience in handling corporate accounting and financial reporting
- Prior experience in the NBFC / financial services sector is an added advantage
- Exposure to Big4 or mid-size CA firms is preferred.
- Experience working in a process-driven or growing organisation is an advantage
